Today marks the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Over the past two years, many lives have been lost, countless more injured, and many have endured immense hardship as a result of this ongoing conflict.

In this visual narrative, IMAGO photojournalists capture the war from various angles, shedding light on the resilience and struggles of ordinary civilians as well as the realities faced on the frontlines over the past year.
