In the lead up to the COP26 summit taking place, global struggle is a leading conversation the world over - but what about the technologies and innovations adapting our future and helping in the cause?
Climate Innovation and the Future
Carbon vacuums or kinetic pavements? Innovation in environmentally sustainable technology is being highly supported by engineers, scientists and think-tanks around the world in the fight to curb the effects of global warming and take action against climate change. From greener construction, people power and cleaning our airs and oceans, mitigation technologies aiming to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases or capture them are stepping to the forefront in innovation.
Defined itself by two dimensions, technology development and technology diffusion, climate innovation allows for adaptive technologies to either adjust to negative effects or exploit positive ones.
